Courtesy Call by Ambassador Nakagawa on H.E. Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the AUC

On 11 April 2025, Ambassador Nakagawa Tsutomu paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC). 

During the meeting, they a productive exchange on preparations for the upcoming TICAD 9 Summit scheduled to be held in August and deepening bilateral cooperation between Japan and AU.  

In his part, AUC Chairperson H.E. Mr. Youssouf, expressed his gratitude toward Japan’s commitment to multilateralism, as well as Japan’s various supports and longstanding trade and development partnerships with AU Member States.
