Presentation of Credentials by Ambassador Sekiguchi to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC)

On 12 December 2025, H.E. Ambassador SEKIGUCHI Noboru, new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Government of Japan to the African Union, presented his credentials to H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC).
During the meeting, they exchanged views on Japan–African Union / African Union Commission cooperation, including the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), and discussed ways to further strengthen their collaboration in the coming years.
